Instrument description:

Magnet (1T) allowing the acquisition of magnetic hysteresis curves and of remanence curves.

Analysis principle:

Measurement of the evolution of induced and remanent magnetization during field cycles between maximum -1T and +1T. Measurement of high precision and high sensitivity.

Analyses performed with the instrument:

Magnetic hysteresis curves at room temperature, determination of hysteresis parameters. Isothermal remanent magnetization (IRM) curves. Can be applied to all kind of samples (sediments, lavas, potteries etc…)
